Powerpoint installation
in Surrey Hills.

The usual complaint in an older weatherboard is simple: too few outlets, and none near where the couch landed. Timber frames help us in one way, since cable can often be fed down from the roof space or up from under the floor. They hinder us in another, because noggins and tight cavities block the path. We trace the likely route before cutting, then make small openings and patch them back. Families here often open up the back of the house, which usually means a fresh set of outlets for the kitchen, the new living area and the home office. This is a good time to add a double powerpoint along the bench, a USB-C outlet by the study desk or an outdoor powerpoint on the deck. We also check the circuits those outlets share, so the new ones do not overload an old one. Everything is tested before we pack up.
