Powerpoint installation
in Ormond.

Ormond's Californian bungalows and interwar brick homes have often been extended once or twice, and each new room got just enough power to pass inspection. The result is a house where half the outlets are in the original rooms and the new family area runs on extension cords. We start by checking which circuits feed which rooms, then add powerpoints on circuits that can carry them. In an extension, we often add a double powerpoint to the kitchen island, wall outlets for a desk and a USB-C outlet by the couch. Close to the station, apartment owners usually want power at the balcony or study corner, and we check with the strata about wiring routes. We label what we add so the next person knows where everything is.

What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Ormond.
