Powerpoint installation in Bentleigh is usually a townhouse story: a new build with outlets in the builder's spots, not yours. We add extra powerpoints exactly where the furniture ended up.

Townhouses that have replaced old homes on single blocks tend to arrive with the legal minimum of outlets, set out on a plan drawn before anyone chose a sofa. Living rooms end up with a power board behind the TV, and the kitchen bench has one double GPO for a toaster, kettle and coffee machine. We add a double powerpoint where the sofa sits, a USB-C outlet beside the bed and extra points along the bench. In the older weatherboard homes, wall cavities with lining boards and no insulation are easy to run cable through, while bungalow brick needs roof-space routes. A garage outlet, or an outdoor powerpoint for a garden or entertaining area, is a frequent add-on. Before adding load, we check the board and circuit, so new outlets never become nuisance trippers.

Usually. We use the ceiling space or the wall cavity to route cable, and fit new outlets with small patches only. We check the circuit for spare capacity and add a new one if needed.
