Powerpoint installation in Box Hill South usually means the new townhouse with a lovely courtyard and no power in it. We add extra powerpoints inside and out, wherever the house falls short.
Box Hill South 3128
Townhouses on the old split blocks are typically well wired where the builder expected you to need power: the kitchen bench, the bedhead, behind the TV. Beyond that, they run thin. Nobody planned an outdoor powerpoint for the barbecue, a plug for the hedge trimmer or a point in the garage for a freezer. Those are the additions owners ask for after moving in. We fit a weatherproof outdoor powerpoint on a protected circuit and route cable neatly through the wall or eaves. In the 1950s and 60s houses that remain, the problem is the opposite: lots of rooms, hardly any outlets, and double adapters in every corner. There we add a double powerpoint or USB-C outlet where the furniture actually sits, after checking that the circuit can carry it. We keep patching and cable runs tidy.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Box Hill South.
Good work. Happy locals.

“Steven provided a good and accurate quote over the phone and the job came in on price. Contacted about arrival time the night before and showed up when expected. The outdoor power point was installed within 20 minutes and the job was finished and cleaned well. Nice to deal with and enjoyed our dog coming by to check out what was going on.”

Powerpoints
“Arrived within 20 minutes of me calling and explaining that half my property's powerpoints were inactive, promptly worked out and explained the issue to me, and had it completely resolved same day. High quality and clean work, could not be happier!”

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Yes. We fit an outdoor-rated powerpoint with a safety switch protecting the circuit, and run cable through the wall cavity or roof space where possible. If the courtyard wall is shared or common property, check your plan of subdivision first.
