Big double-storey family homes need cooling in more than one room, upstairs and down. In Bulleen we handle the wiring for split system installation and ceiling fan installation.
Bulleen 3105
A double-storey Bulleen house can have a stuffy upstairs and a cool ground floor, and the family may want a split system in several rooms. Each unit needs a suitable circuit of its own and an isolator at the outdoor unit. If you plan multiple units, a heavier load on an old board is a real concern, and we assess capacity before the first one goes in. The outdoor unit position matters in a double-storey house, since cable and pipe runs have to reach the upstairs rooms. We plan the electrical route together with your installer. Ceiling fans in upstairs bedrooms and the downstairs living area are a good partner, and we mount them on fan-rated supports. Homes with a granny flat or converted garage need their own circuit too. We tell you what the electrical side involves before we begin.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main a/c & ceiling fans page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Bulleen.
Good work. Happy locals.

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Usually yes, with a circuit for each system. The question is whether the board and supply can carry the extra load. We check that first, and where needed we suggest a board upgrade before the units are installed.
