Large houses with several living areas make it hard for one router to keep up. TV wall mounting and data cabling at Kooyong homes reaches the places Wi-Fi never quite reaches.

A long hallway, thick walls and a second storey split the signal into dead spots. Wired data points in the study, upstairs bedrooms and media room fix that, and they allow wireless access points to be placed properly across the house. Cable goes through ceilings and underfloor spaces and back it to a tidy hub in a cupboard or garage. For TV wall mounting, we conceal power and cables within the wall for a clean look. Home theatres and cinema rooms are another common request, with several points behind the screen for speakers and a media box. Many homes have an old antenna feed and TV points that no longer work, and we can test and repair them. Where heritage details like plaster cornices are present, we choose routes that avoid them.

Usually. We use the roof space and wall cavities, dropping cable down to the new outlet position. The only opening is a small cut at the outlet. We'll check the route before work starts. Tell us if the ceiling is ornate plaster so we can take extra care.
