Large houses often have several zones to cool, which means several outdoor units or one large ducted unit on the side of the house. Either way, each system needs its own dedicated circuit and an isolator beside the outdoor equipment. Our job is the electrical side. The air conditioning installer handles ducting, refrigerant and commissioning. Before we run the circuit, we check the board for capacity. A big ducted system on top of a pool pump and an oven can be a lot. Ceiling fan installation is common in verandahs, sunrooms and big bedrooms with high ceilings, and we match fan weight to a solid fixing in the structure. On heritage-controlled streets, outdoor units have to be positioned sensibly, and we recommend you check the rules before ordering. We also tidy conduit runs so cables do not wander across the wall.
