Induction needs its own circuit back to the board, and with heavy cabling going under stone and through finished joinery, the timing matters. We prefer to run the cable before the benchtop goes in, so ask us early. If the kitchen is already finished, we look for a route through the floor or ceiling that avoids damage. We check the board has the spare capacity to take the circuit, and flag it if the pool or ducted heating is already using most of it. Moving from gas to induction also means thinking about the extraction over the island. We make sure it's wired correctly.
