Elwood is mainly residential, with its shopping and cafe strips at Ormond Road and Glen Huntly Road. That means our commercial jobs are small and local: a cafe wanting more circuits for its machines, a salon needing lighting and powerpoints, or an office set up in a converted house. We handle shop fit-out electrical and tenancy upgrades, with a clear record for the landlord. We also work with apartment blocks, where common-area lighting and shared boards need attention. Because older buildings have limited capacity, we check the board before adding load. Heritage overlays affect shopfronts, so any new external work needs care, and we advise on what is likely to need approval. We are a small team, so we suit local tenancies well, but not large retail chains or industrial work.
