Extra powerpoints in Elwood make a real difference in Art Deco flats built when a room needed one outlet. We handle powerpoint installation neatly, including USB-C and a double powerpoint.
Elwood 3184
Elwood's interwar flats are charming, but many keep their original layout with very few powerpoints. One outlet per room worked in the thirties and does not now. We start with how you use each space: a desk, a bedside, a TV wall, the kitchen bench. Then we plan cable runs through the ceiling space or under the floor to keep the Deco detail intact. Bungalow owners opening up the back of the house often want an island bench with outlets, plus an outdoor powerpoint for the deck. Near the canal and beach, we choose outdoor-rated outlets that handle damp and salt. Heritage overlays cover much of the suburb, so we keep any visible external work discreet and in keeping with the street. Good outlets in good places help a small flat feel bigger.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Elwood.
Good work. Happy locals.

“Steven provided a good and accurate quote over the phone and the job came in on price. Contacted about arrival time the night before and showed up when expected. The outdoor power point was installed within 20 minutes and the job was finished and cleaned well. Nice to deal with and enjoyed our dog coming by to check out what was going on.”

Their workmanship was top-notch and they made sure everything was safe, neat, and tidy before leaving. Both of them were friendly, professional, and easy to deal with, which made the whole experience stress-free.”

FAQ

Usually, yes. We run cable through the ceiling space, under the floor or inside cupboards, and cut as little plaster as we can. Where a patch is needed, we keep it small and tell you before we start. Original detail like picture rails stays intact.
