Split system installation (electrical side) and ceiling fan installation suit Elwood's flats and bungalows. We supply the dedicated circuit, isolator and connection for your air conditioner.
Elwood 3184
Many Elwood flats were built long before air conditioning, so the board often has no spare circuit for it. First we look at spare capacity, then add a dedicated circuit and an isolator near the outdoor unit. Your air conditioning installer supplies and fits the unit. In a block, the outdoor unit may need owners corporation approval, and the cable route may cross common areas. We plan the cable so it stays discreet, which matters under heritage overlays. Bungalows give us roof space to run cable, so the finish is cleaner. Ceiling fans work well in Elwood's Edwardian rooms with taller ceilings, and in a flat they are an easy way to move air on a warm night. We fit the fan on a proper circuit with a wall control, so there is no pull cord dangling.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main a/c & ceiling fans page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Elwood.
Good work. Happy locals.

Usually yes. We route cable through the ceiling space or inside the building, and put the isolator near the outdoor unit at the rear or side. Check approval for the unit position first. We handle the circuit and connection.
