Induction cooktop installation in Elwood tends to come with a kitchen rethink. Bungalow owners and flat dwellers alike are moving from gas to induction, and we provide the circuit that makes it work.
Elwood 3184
Californian bungalows around Ormond Road and Glen Huntly Road are often opened up at the back, with a new bench and island. That is when the cooktop gets chosen, and when the board gets tested. An induction cooktop wants a dedicated circuit and enough capacity on the board. We work out where the cable runs, often through the roof space or under the floor so the new kitchen stays clean. In Art Deco flats, kitchens are small and tucked away, so the issue is usually the route and the board, not the cooktop itself. Gas to induction involves disconnecting the old supply, which a licensed gasfitter does. We coordinate so the kitchen keeps moving. An induction surface is flat, easy to wipe and gives you bench space back.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main induction cooktops page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Elwood.
Good work. Happy locals.

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Usually yes, because induction units are compact and need no flue. The sticking points are the circuit and board capacity. We check both, plan the cable route, and tell you whether the board needs work first. We install the cooktop to your chosen cutout.
