Two kinds of building turn up most. The first is the older brick unit from the 1960s or 70s, often owned as an investment. Fuse boards, tired powerpoints and flickering lights come with the territory, and landlords want the job done tidily and documented. If the unit is part of a block, we deal with the strata manager or body corporate when a fault sits in a shared area. The second is the newer townhouse, where early faults tend to be small: a safety switch that trips, a light that dies, an outdoor circuit that never worked properly. Those are usually simple to trace. We test before we touch anything, repair on the spot where we can, and give you a plain report. If the fault points to a wider problem, we say so and quote separately.
