A new wall oven or freestanding oven in Hampton East needs the right circuit behind it. We handle the oven installation and check the wiring before the old one comes out.
Hampton East 3188
Swapping like for like sounds simple until the old oven is out and the wall behind it looks worse than the oven did. In Hampton East's older houses, the oven is often on a thin cable from decades ago, sometimes shared with other kitchen outlets. We trace what feeds the oven, check the cable size, and replace it where needed. Wall ovens bring a separate question, because the cabinetry has to match the dimensions of the new unit. Freestanding models are easier, though they still need a proper isolating switch within reach. If your townhouse kitchen came with a basic oven and you are upgrading, we confirm the existing circuit can handle a bigger model. We install ovens and connect them safely. We do not repair them, so if yours has simply failed, call the manufacturer first.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main ovens page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Hampton East.
Good work. Happy locals.

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Often yes, but it depends on the circuit and the cabinet space. We check the cable rating and breaker size, then confirm the cut-out measurements against the new oven. If the circuit is undersized, we upgrade it before connecting.
