Powerpoint installation
in Hampton.

Hampton homes sit close to the bay, and the air carries salt that attacks outdoor fittings sooner than you might expect. A standard outdoor powerpoint on a deck or fence can corrode quickly, so we use weatherproof gear designed for the conditions and position it out of the worst exposure. Inside, original timber cottages often have a handful of outlets per room, and renovators add double powerpoints along living room walls and a USB-C outlet at the kitchen bench. In the knockdown rebuilds, owners tend to add outlets once they have lived there a few months and learned where they actually need them. We run cable through the roof space and walls, keep the finish neat and test every circuit. Light-filled living areas with glass doors have fewer wall spaces, so we often use floor boxes.

What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Hampton.
