Hampton cottage bedrooms and open living areas both need a split system installation (electrical) planned around circuits and positions. We also fit ceiling fans, including under covered outdoor areas.
Hampton 3188
We handle the electrical work for air conditioning: a dedicated circuit, an isolator at the outdoor unit and the final connection. Your installer deals with the refrigerant side. In Hampton, the outdoor unit sits in salty air, so we recommend a position with some shelter where possible. In timber cottages, the roof space gives us a clean route for cable, but the board may need attention first if it is still on ceramic fuses. For light-filled open living areas, a ceiling fan helps spread cool air and cuts how hard the air conditioner has to work. We fit it with a wall control and check the ceiling fixing. In the new two-storey homes, we plan cable runs between floors. We are happy to work with your builder or by ourselves.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main a/c & ceiling fans page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Hampton.
Good work. Happy locals.

“Select electrical was recommended by my son. Their quoted price was spot on with no hidden extras. Great job and will use them again”

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
It can. Sheltered positions reduce corrosion, and the isolator and cable should be rated for outdoors. We discuss placement with you and your installer, then run the circuit and isolator to suit the spot you choose.
