Switchboard upgrades

After decades of additions, a board in an older house can look like a puzzle: original porcelain fuses, a breaker added for the kitchen, a mystery circuit nobody can name. Renovating the back of the house adds more load, and a patched panel is the weak link. We replace it with a new board with RCDs and correctly rated breakers, then label each one. There is spare space for future circuits, so a charger or induction cooktop does not mean another visit to rebuild the board. We also check the incoming supply and meter connection while we are there. In a house on a good-sized block, the board is often in a garage or on a side wall, and we choose a position that is easy to reach. We test everything before we go and walk you through resetting a tripped switch.
