Smith Street shopfronts and backstreet studios mean a commercial electrician in Collingwood gets used to compact, older spaces. Our fit-outs, compliance work and lighting suit them.
Collingwood 3066
Collingwood has everything from long-running Smith Street shops to galleries, design offices and food businesses tucked into former factories. A new tenant often inherits a fit-out that's been changed several times, with unlabelled circuits and mismatched fittings. We start by tracing what's there. For a shop fit-out, we plan the lighting, display power, card terminal and signage points and make sure the board can carry it. Offices need data, desk power and decent lighting, and warehouses with high ceilings need fittings that actually reach the floor. We keep any visible external work discreet because of the heritage overlays. Compliance work is part of the job too: safety switches, test and tag where it applies, and exit lighting, which we can check as part of the build. We'll scope the work around your trading hours and the landlord's requirements.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main commercial electrical page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Collingwood.
Good work. Happy locals.

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Often in stages, yes. We can work section by section, or after hours, so part of the shop stays open. Whether that works depends on the layout and the circuits involved. Tell us your trading hours and we'll plan around them.
