Open-plan family homes still need a cabled connection for the study and the TV. Extensions and older rooms both get a steady link from our TV wall mounting and data cabling in Fitzroy North.

A rear extension can sit surprisingly far from the router at the front of the house, and the solid walls between don't help. Family life makes this more noticeable: kids streaming, someone working from home and a smart TV all competing for the same signal. Running cable to a few key spots fixes it. We can put data points in the study, the kids' rooms and behind the living room TV, and connect them back to one tidy location. For TV wall mounting, we choose fixings to suit the wall, hide the cables inside it and fit a power and data outlet behind the screen. Bay-windowed front rooms in Victorian homes often make a good place for a media wall too. We can check existing TV points and the antenna as well. Before drilling, we talk through where the furniture will sit.
