Split system and ceiling fan electrical
in Fitzroy North.

Families moving off gas heating often choose split systems for both heating and cooling. They draw serious current, and an older board may not have a free circuit for them. We check the board, run a dedicated cable to the outdoor unit and fit an isolator beside it. Open-plan extensions are the usual target, and they're big, with high ceilings, so one well-placed system or a combination with ceiling fans can handle them. Where the indoor unit goes affects the cable route, so we coordinate with your air-conditioning installer, who handles the refrigerant side. In Victorian and Edwardian front rooms, we keep visible runs away from period features. Ceiling fan installation in high ceilings needs a solid fixing and a sensible downrod length, so the blades sit at a useful height. We test everything before we leave.
