Powerpoint installation
in Fitzroy North.

Think about the island bench in a rear extension: blender, kettle, laptop, phone chargers, and a single double GPO within reach. Family homes in Fitzroy North often have kitchens like this, because the renovation budget went on cabinetry and the electrical plan stopped early. We fix it by adding outlets to the bench, the kitchen pantry and the study nook, each on a circuit that can carry the load. Villas with timber floors and a roof space make it easy to route new cable without touching the walls. Edwardian homes towards the north can have different construction, so we check before choosing a route. Outside, an outdoor powerpoint on the deck or near the garden shed is useful for tools, a heater or festoon lighting. Where electric cars or heat pumps are in your plans, we'll look at the board's capacity first.

What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Fitzroy North.
