Big houses are hard on Wi-Fi. In Toorak, TV wall mounting and wired data cabling give every room a solid wired connection and leave the walls looking clean.

A single router cannot reach three storeys and a pool house. Thick brick and long distances kill signal, so wired data points make sense. We run cable back to a central cabinet or rack, then put data outlets in studies, bedrooms, the media room and the rear wing. Access points can then be plugged in wherever they are needed. We often fit TV points and antenna outlets at the same time. For wall-mounted TVs, we plan the position with you, then hide power and signal cables inside the wall so nothing is visible. Media rooms may need speaker cable run to the corners before the plaster goes on. In a heritage home we choose routes that keep original features untouched. If you are renovating, run data cabling before the walls are closed up, since it is much easier then. If the walls are already finished, we find a way.
