Newer townhouses and rebuilt family homes are where we see the most chargers going in. We handle EV charger installation in Glen Iris, whether you have a garage, a carport or a shared driveway.
Glen Iris 3146
Parking arrangements vary a lot here. A rebuilt house usually has a double garage built in. A townhouse on a subdivided block might share a driveway or have a single garage at the back. A bungalow might have a lean-to carport with the board in the hallway. The first job is working out where the charger goes and how the cable gets there. We then check the board and supply for headroom, since a family home with an induction cooktop and air conditioning already draws a lot. A dedicated circuit and a properly rated wall charger are what we install. If you live in a townhouse complex, there may be body corporate approval involved. We can supply the details they ask for. Many owners near the Gardiners Creek Trail charge overnight, off-peak.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main ev chargers page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Glen Iris.
Good work. Happy locals.

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Often, yes, but you may need body corporate approval. We'll check where your meter and garage sit, advise on the cable route and supply the paperwork your committee asks for. Ask them first if your plan is registered.
