The unit itself comes from your air conditioning installer, who also mounts it. Our job is the supply: a circuit of its own from the board, an isolator at the outdoor unit and a tidy connection inside. Bungalows usually cause the delay, because the board is already full. Adding a circuit might mean replacing the board first, so we raise it at the quote stage. Second-storey additions are different, as the outdoor units often sit on a ground-floor wall or the roof, and the cable route has to be planned early. Ceiling fans suit bungalow bedrooms with decent height. We hang them from a properly rated fixing, because a fan needs far more than a standard light hook.
