The cottages have small boards squeezed into narrow spaces, with little room to add a circuit. Converted warehouses and studios have a different problem. Several tenants over the years have each added a few circuits, and no one has a clear record of what feeds what. We replace crowded boards with a clean modern one, protect circuits with RCDs and breakers, and label every circuit clearly. In a tenancy, we'll check the supply is right for the equipment you plan to run, whether that's a server cabinet, a photographic studio or a small kitchen. Planning matters on narrow streets with limited parking. We coordinate access with neighbours and building managers, and work out when power can be switched off with minimal impact on others sharing the supply.
