Induction cooktop installation
in Cremorne.

Mid-rise apartments and warehouse conversions often already have electric kitchens, so many cooktop swaps here are simple. Fresh stone benchtops and a flat induction surface go well together in a loft. The harder jobs are the cottages, where the kitchen is a galley at the back and a gas hob is built in. Induction needs a dedicated circuit, and in a house with limited board space, that can mean sorting the board first. We check access through the roof or floor, since many rear extensions have been finished off with little room left to run cable. When a household is converting from gas, the gas connection needs to be capped by a licensed gasfitter. We coordinate timing so the kitchen isn't out of action longer than necessary. A magnet test on your saucepans will save a surprise.

What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main induction cooktops page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Cremorne.
