Keeping a period villa comfortable without spoiling it is a wiring job as much as an air job. We wire split system installation in Clifton Hill: circuit, isolator and connection, plus ceiling fans.
Clifton Hill 3068
High ceilings and original timber floors give Clifton Hill houses their character, and make cooling and heating harder. A split system on the right wall works, but the cable and pipe route needs thought so it doesn't mar a restored room. We can often run the electrical cable through the roof space, away from visible walls, and place the outdoor unit to the side or rear. Older boards frequently have no spare way for a new circuit, so we check that first. Ceiling fans suit tall rooms, pushing warm air back down in winter and moving cool air in summer, but need a proper fixing in the joist and a downrod to match the height. A licensed air-conditioning installer does the refrigerant work, and we coordinate so the job runs smoothly. Everything is tested and the isolator labelled before we finish.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main a/c & ceiling fans page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Clifton Hill.
Good work. Happy locals.

“Steve and Jason did an excellent job from start to finish. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and explained everything clearly along the way. Their workmanship was top-notch and they made sure everything was safe, neat, and tidy before leaving. Both of them were friendly, professional, and easy to deal with, which made the whole experience stress-free.”

Often the cable can come through the roof space or under the floor, so the plaster stays intact. The refrigerant pipes need a route too. We plan the whole path with your installer, aiming for the least visible option.
