Split system and ceiling fan electrical

Older Fairfield rooms heat up in summer, and a ceiling fan is often the simplest way to move air. High Edwardian ceilings need a longer downrod, while a lower bungalow ceiling needs a flush-mount model, and we fit whichever suits. A split system is a different job. We do the electrical side only: a circuit of its own, an isolator near the outdoor unit and the final hook-up. The refrigerant work and mounting belong to your air-conditioning installer. We often meet the installer on site, so the cable route and the isolator position are agreed beforehand. Before we add either, we check the board, because older Fairfield switchboards can be full already. If the board needs an upgrade, we sort it in the same visit so the new circuit has somewhere to land.
