Split system installation (electrical) and ceiling fan installation in Ripponlea mean fitting modern comfort into period homes without damaging them. We do the circuit, isolator and connection.
Ripponlea 3185
A split system needs a circuit of its own, an isolator by the outdoor unit and a clean connection. In Ripponlea, the question is how to get there without damaging plaster, cornices or timber. We use roof spaces and subfloors to run cable, and plan the indoor unit position with your air conditioning installer so the cabling stays hidden. Where the board is old or full, we upgrade or add capacity first. Heritage overlays make us careful about where the outdoor unit and isolator sit, and we keep them to the side or rear. Ceiling fans work well in the larger Edwardian rooms, where the ceiling is high enough to carry one, and the same circuit rules apply. We balance the fan and fit a wall control so it runs quietly.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main a/c & ceiling fans page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Ripponlea.
Good work. Happy locals.

“Select electrical was recommended by my son. Their quoted price was spot on with no hidden extras. Great job and will use them again”

Often we can. We use the roof space and run the cable down inside walls or cupboards, which means very little plaster is touched. Your installer handles the refrigerant pipes. We plan the route together so the finish stays neat.
