Data cabling and TV wall mounting in Balaclava are common requests in rental flats and brick walk-ups, where wifi gets blocked and TV points are in the wrong corner.

A solid brick wall can kill a wifi signal on the way to the bedroom. If the owner agrees, a wired data point is the fix, and we plan the run carefully so it looks neat. In many 1960s and 70s blocks we use surface conduit that matches the wall colour, because chasing cable inside brick makes a mess. Cottages are easier, with roof and floor spaces that let us hide cable. For TV wall mounting, we fit the bracket into a stud or brick with the right plug, add a powerpoint behind the TV and hide the cable. If your TV points are in awkward spots, or the antenna feed is weak, we can move or replace them. Renters should check with the landlord before drilling, and we are happy to talk to them directly.
