Some of the biggest kitchens we see are in the larger houses around Toorak Village and St Georges Road. They may include a pair of wall ovens stacked in a tall cabinet, a steam oven beside them and a warming drawer. That is a lot of load in one corner of the room. We check the supply cable, the breaker and the isolating arrangement for each appliance before installing, and a separate oven circuit may be needed. In older homes extended over the years, the kitchen may be fed from a sub-board in another part of the house, and we test that line before adding to it. We take care in joinery too. Cabinets are often custom-built to tight tolerances, so we connect behind the unit without cutting the carcass. We install ovens only. A faulty unit needs an appliance technician.
