Powerpoint installation
in Fitzroy.

Renovated terraces here often look finished and still have the same handful of outlets the house had decades ago. Owners end up running extension leads along skirting boards, which is neither tidy nor a good idea. Adding powerpoints in solid masonry walls is a different job from plasterboard, so we plan the route first. Sometimes cable can travel through the roof space or beneath the ground floor and come up where you need it. Sometimes a neat, painted conduit is the honest answer. Upstairs bedrooms in a double-storey terrace are the usual trouble spot, with access between floors limited and walls thick. We can fit double powerpoints beside the bed, USB-C outlets in the kitchen, or a weatherproof outdoor powerpoint in the courtyard. Each new outlet gets checked against its circuit, since a house with a hundred-year-old layout may already have one line doing too much.

What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Fitzroy.
