Split system installation in St Kilda often means working with a strata manager over where the outdoor unit can go. We do the electrical side, plus ceiling fan installation for flats and houses.
St Kilda 3182
In a flat, the real puzzle is rarely the cable. It is where the outdoor unit can sit, and whether the owners corporation allows it on the balcony, the wall or the roof. Check those rules before you buy a system. Once the position is agreed, we run a dedicated circuit from your board, fit an isolator near the unit and make the connection. If the flat's board is old or shared, we assess whether it can carry the extra load or whether it needs attention first. Art Deco blocks and 1960s walk-ups can have solid walls and slabs, so cable routes are chosen with care. A ceiling fan is a good option in a small flat where a split system is not allowed. The refrigerant and mounting side stays with the A/C installer.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main a/c & ceiling fans page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician St Kilda.
Good work. Happy locals.

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Ask your strata manager for the building's rules and any approved locations, then choose your system to suit. Once the spot is approved, we can plan the circuit and isolator. We can also describe the electrical work in writing for your committee.
