In a converted Victorian house or a 1960s walk-up, you may find a meter panel shared across several flats, with fuses or circuits added piece by piece over decades. Inside your own flat, the board can usually be replaced with owners corporation notice. In the common area, the work belongs to the building, and the owners corporation has to approve and often pays. It depends on where the board sits. A board inside your lot that serves only your flat is usually your cost. A common-area board serving several flats is normally the owners corporation's. We can inspect it and give the strata manager a clear report.
