Powerpoint installation in St Kilda starts with a look at a tiny flat and the one double outlet it came with. We add extra powerpoints where you need them, including USB-C and outdoor spots.
St Kilda 3182
St Kilda flats were mostly built when a household needed one lamp and a radio. Today, someone is working from the kitchen bench, someone else is charging two phones and a laptop in bed, and the coffee machine shares a power board with the toaster. In an Art Deco block or a 1960s walk-up, a new outlet is a small job with a few careful steps. We check the circuit, find a safe route for the cable and confirm whether the wall or ceiling is shared. If it touches common property, the owners corporation may need to approve it, and we can give you something specific to send to the strata manager. Balconies with a view of Catani Gardens or the Esplanade can have a weatherproof outdoor powerpoint fitted too. Every new point gets tested and the circuit labelled.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician St Kilda.
Good work. Happy locals.

“Steven provided a good and accurate quote over the phone and the job came in on price. Contacted about arrival time the night before and showed up when expected. The outdoor power point was installed within 20 minutes and the job was finished and cleaned well. Nice to deal with and enjoyed our dog coming by to check out what was going on.”

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Usually, yes. We can replace existing outlets with USB-C models, or extend from one using surface or in-wall routes where the plaster is not solid brick. We check the wall first and show you the cleanest option before we start.
